Permanent Power Supply via 12V Onboard Voltage

The 12V/24V USB onboard adapter is an alternative solution for a direct connection to the 12V/24V onboard power supply to provide a continuous power source for the CarPro-Tec. This adapter converts the 12V/24V onboard voltage into the required 5V power supply (12V/24V → 5V). We recommend connecting it to a 12V permanent power supply, as switching off the 12V main switch may otherwise deactivate the onboard adapter’s power supply.

Finally, connect the included CarPro-Tec charging cable to the USB port of the 12V/24V onboard adapter.

Note:

Before installation, please check with your vehicle manufacturer about possible warranty implications, or use a professional workshop for installation. Alternatively, use our 5V Powerstation to ensure a continuous power supply even during extended standstill periods.
